This month at Elevated Studios in Wilmington, Delaware, our Level Up Life theme is Respect, and one of the biggest lessons we focus on is this:

Respect builds stronger connections.

In friendships, teamwork, and family life, respect creates trust—and trust allows kids to grow confidently.

Mat Application

On the mat, respect shows up through:

• Awareness of personal space
• Following rules that keep everyone safe
• Encouraging teammates instead of competing against them

These small choices create a positive, supportive environment where kids feel safe to try, fail, and improve.

Life Application

Off the mat, respect helps children:

• Navigate friendships
• Set healthy boundaries
• Communicate thoughtfully

They learn that respecting others also means respecting themselves.
